Invitation to Italy

I’ve been working for quite some time on a graphic novel called Italian Journey. It should have been a book about my journeys through Italy, but then I started reading journals, reports and letters by artists who travelled and lived in Italy over the centuries. Goethe, of course, but also Stendhal, Lord Byron, Mary and Percy Shelley, and many many others… It seems like anyone who ever accomplished something in the arts field, wether it was painting, music or writing, has passed through Italy sooner or later. All these artists have amazing stories and I’m slowly turning them into a graphic novel.

In this newsletter you will find notes, drawings and comics pages from my work. I created a specific section for non-Italian readers: you can subscribe to it by visiting your account settings and selecting the Italian Journey section.

Most of the posts in this section are reserved to readers who choose a paid subscription. If you can read Italian - or if you are trying to learn - you will find much more free content in the Italian section of this newsletter.

You won't have to worry about missing anything. Every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox.
